The Client Partner is responsible for driving profitable, long-term growth from assigned accounts by developing strategic customer-centric relationships and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes. This individual manages the growth and evolution of relationships and lead complex multi-dimensional engagements that combine consulting and software implementation.


  • Leads account strategy and planning while identifying opportunities of growth within assigned accounts.

eCapital is looking for an established OneStream Senior Architect with multiple full unified platform implementations across planning, consolidations, management reporting and financial data management all within the OneStream ecosystem

This role will be a technology leadership role within our OneStream practice and part of the EPM Leadership team.  Activities will include delivering client engagements as the OneStream Senior Architect, as well as managing various technical and functional team members in partnership with EPM Transformation team members and project leaders.

This role will also partner closely with the OneStream ecosystem and eCapital Leadership to further improve eCapital’s Center of Excellence, including client enablement, methodologies, quality assurance and the overall OneStream operating model at the firm.

This person will have multiple years of EPM implementation experience, including 5+ multi-capability (planning, consolidations, etc.) successful OneStream implementations, as well as the desire to help lead and grow the OneStream practice in a role that helps drive the future of the firm and continued development of our next generation of leaders.

Role Expectations / Responsibilities

  • Delivery:  In partnership with OneStream Leadership, plan, manage and deliver complex client engagements as the Senior Solution Architect and the overall technical lead directly managing other Architects and Developers.  Responsible for OneStream solution architecture and quality assurance including partnership between eCapital’s OneStream Center of Excellence and the OneStream Partner Enablement and Client Enablement teams.  Project lifecycle responsibilities including functional discovery/requirements (partnering with the EPM Functional team), technical requirements & design, iterative/agile build, testing, training, quality assurance, release and hypercare.
  • Strategic Sales Engagement:  Provide technical validation and competency in the sales process to help close key client opportunities including providing custom demos, rapid proof of concepts and technical perspectives to help illustrate the value of OneStream.  Support project estimation, resourcing, pricing and scoping efforts.
  • Center of Excellence:  Enhance and refine the eCapital OneStream Center of Excellence including technical methodologies, technical operating model, templates, and marketplace offerings combined with significant training programs for clients and internal practitioners to enable next generation OneStream capabilities.
  • Talent:  Lead, identify, recruit, hire and develop talent to deliver OneStream projects for our clients.  Continue to scale eCapital’s talent across practice areas including EPM and Analytics.
  • Analytics:  Partner with OneStream leadership and the eCapital Analytic leadership team to further expand the bridge between Analytics and EPM and OneStream’s role in empowering our clients through world-class analytics aligned directly to a unified finance platform.  This includes developing client prototypes, go to market offerings, thought leadership, methodologies and technical options related to Analytics and OneStream.

Required Qualifications

OneStream Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in a lead architect type role implementing OneStream XF Solutions including planning, consolidations, management reporting, analytics and financial data management across functional domains such as sales, operations, manufacturing, finance, HR, etc.
  • Strong relationships with the OneStream Partner and Customer Enablement teams and understanding how to navigate the OneStream ecosystem
  • Completed required OneStream training programs to deliver the projects mentioned above


  • Minimum of 7-10 years delivering large, complex EPM consulting engagements as a technical leader managing teams while partnering closely with functional leadership managing both technical and functional team members to successfully deliver EPM implementations
  • Extensive experience in delivery including developing and refining methodologies and approaches and leading/managing teams in the delivery lifecycle including a blend of waterfall, hybrid and agile models with quality assurance protocols and tollgate risk management.
  • Demonstrated strong capabilities communicating technical concepts and needs effectively and efficiently with functional team members and key client non-technical end users.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the EPM marketplace and in particular the technical dynamics across EPM tool options and the technical perspective of next generation capabilities tying into the impacts of design and architecture of OneStream solutions.
  • Proven ability to multi-task effectively to lead and manage across client engagements, manage and mentor team members, utilize triage and problem-solving skills operating independently at times while leveraging a strong eCapital platform of leaders and talent to bring the best of the firm to our clients, your teams and your role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the EPM Domain including Finance, Accounting, Engineering (Industrial, Computer, Mechanical, etc.), Computer Science or related field.
  • Travel up to 50% within a model that targets virtual delivery as much as possible, however this leadership role will require various travel for client engagements and internal firm activities to support and continuously improve our customer engagement, employee engagement and overall culture goals
