As the Chief Executive Officer at eCapital, Steve Whinnery is responsible for strategy, operations and customer experience. He is passionate about building a collaborative and entrepreneurial culture within eCapital. Steve also focuses on establishing partnerships with new technology vendors and developing new eCapital practices and solutions.
Since the company’s beginning in 2001, Steve’s focus has been collaborating with and advising CFO’s, CIO’s and other business leaders. He has served in an advisory capacity and led implementations for Fortune 1000 companies across various industries including: CPG, Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, Services and Hospitality.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Steve enjoys spending time with his kids outside of work, playing golf, riding motorcycles and traveling.
As a Partner and Chief Revenue Officer at eCapital Advisors, Lisa is responsible for the go-to market strategy and solution delivery for clients and prospects. She brings her extensive experience as a sales leader and technology expert to her role in marketing and business development. Her favorite part of the job is the perspective of the “before and after” for prospective customers—hearing about the success of analytics and what it did to improve their business in a meaningful way.
Lisa graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. in Accounting with CPA certification and came to eCapital Advisors with over 16 years of experience in professional consulting services and sales. Throughout her career, Lisa has always found joy in empowering her clients.
In her own words, her favorite interactions with clients are, “Being able to help them understand what to pursue in analytics and what value it will provide. Presenting that to their leadership team and helping map out the implementation plan. Supporting them every step of the way. That’s rewarding because that’s really where they lean on us for our expertise.”
Outside of work, Lisa serves on the board of directors for Ronald McDonald House Charities and is a member of the Women’s President’s Organization. She is a self-described person and finds passion and inspiration in personal and professional relationships. She loves encouraging passion in others and enjoys hosting and supporting the activities of her friends and family.
Corey has spent his professional career in various sales & leadership roles, from his start as a Marketing Intern and Inside Sales Representative to his most recent role as Vice President of Sales & Marketing. He has over twenty-eight years of diverse professional sales & leadership experience helping develop high-performing teams and working with companies to find the best technology solutions to meet their most critical needs.
His professional passions are focused on helping people, providing tangible value & creating positive outcomes. He has a strong record of high growth results through strategic leadership roles – having worked for large, mid-size, and start-up technology organizations.
Corey graduated from the University of Minnesota – Duluth with a Bachelor of Business Administration – Marketing.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family & friends, traveling & exploring far-off places, listening to live music, getting out on the lake, and staying active by running, biking, and golfing.
Matt joined eCapital Advisors in 2021 and brings over 20 years of experience as a CFO and Finance leader driving growth and continuous transformational improvement in companies across multiple industries. Prior to eCapital, Matt was VP of Finance and Data Analytics at Renaissance a K-12 education technology company, Division CFO at Solera a software and data analytics company, Division CFO at Optum Consulting, and multiple leadership roles within Optum, UnitedHealth Group, and Best Buy.
Matt graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and International Business.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys volunteering with multiple organizations, mentoring, and being outdoors with his wife and kids doing water sports, mountain biking and supporting his kids in their activities.
As the Managing Director at eCapital Advisors, Lenny Hayes is responsible for the go-to market, strategy and delivery for the Advisory and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) capabilities. He brings extensive functional and technical experience as a strategic delivery and sales leader overseeing each of the EPM strategic technology practices. Lenny enjoys leveraging his thought leadership and experience with technology, advisory and analytics to support financial business executives solve complex challenges and drive business outcomes for their organization.
Lenny graduated from Stony Brook University with a B.S. in Business Management & Finance. Lenny earned his MBA from LeBow College of Business – Drexel University with a focus in Business Analytics. Lenny joined eCapital Advisors with 10 years of experience in professional consulting services and industry.
Lenny’s focus has been collaborating and driving technology solutions and programs with C-suite executives for Fortune 500 clients across various industries (Consumer, Retail, Manufacturing, CPG, Financial Services, Healthcare, Insurance). Beyond client delivery excellence, Lenny enjoys training others and serving as a player coach to maximize his teams’ strengths to instill customer success.
Outside of work, Lenny enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and tennis, and relaxing on the beach with friends.
