Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) is now a complete and connected EPM solution. Prior to June 2019, Oracle Cloud EPM products were sold as separate products. Now with one licensing subscription, you have access to planning, close and consolidation, account reconciliation, narrative reporting, and more. Users can access all these models with their license, they no longer need a license for each model.
The table below highlights different licensing options for Oracle Cloud EPM.
Standard gives you access to fewer models and less functionality in each of those models.
Enterprise gives you access to all models and functionality.
There are several questions that should be answered when selecting between these options. Below are some examples:
- What and how many EPM modules are you looking to leverage?
- What types of planning and budgeting processes are needed in the solution? How detailed are these processes?
- Do you have a need for analytic storage and reporting?
- Is transaction matching for your account reconciliations process important?
- Is metadata being sourced from external systems? How will metadata be maintained?
These questions are a starting point for aligning the right licensing model for your organization. No single answer to a question will decide what subscription is right for you, but when you put all the criteria together the answer will become clear.
The table below also outlines price and model availability within Oracle Cloud EPM. It is important to note, you will not pay list price as discounts are included in your final licensing agreement. eCapital will work with Oracle to ensure you get the biggest discount possible for your organization.
Generally, if you enable two or more business processes, the Enterprise option will be the most cost-effective.
