On a monthly basis, experts at eCapital Advisors review the Oracle PBCS release notes to provide a look at the latest features and changes users & administrators must know about to manage their financial planning software environment properly.

As part of the review of Oracle’s Planning and Budgeting Cloud March Release (17.03), the eCapital team highlighted a few key areas on video and prepared a full-length video recording of their PBCS review. Highlighted areas for March include a rolling forecast, translation information, financial integration, enhanced project analysis, and a new EPM Automate utility.

The members of the eCapital Advisors team who have prepared this month’s update are Bob Usset and Ryan Koelher. Bob Usset is an Oracle implementation expert with degrees in both Information System and Finance from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. Bob has been working on Oracle Hyperion implementations since 2010. During this time Bob has delivered several Hyperion implementations for a variety of industries including healthcare, financial services, retail, and consumer products. Ryan Koelher has successfully implemented a variety of complex allocation models, driver-based strategic forecasting and budgeting systems, and operational reporting solutions. Ryan’s area of expertise includes Supply Chain, Healthcare, and Manufacturing. For the last 7 years, Ryan has been providing Essbase, Planning, FDMEE, and other Oracle technology solutions to some of North America’s most innovative companies.
